Veterinary Emergency CareThe life of a veterinarian is about providing the best preventive and wellness care as well as ensuring that your pets are supported by the best emergency care possible, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Bridgewater Veterinary Clinic understands that medical emergencies for a beloved pet can, and often do, happen outside of normal business hours. This is why we work to make sure our clients have access to 24/7 emergency care.

During our regular business hours, Bridgewater Veterinary Clinic's medical staff and resources are available to help guide you with any emergency your pet experiences. If possible, please call in advance so we can prepare for your arrival.

For emergencies that occur outside of our regular hospital hours, or that we feel will need inpatient care, we refer our clients to the following emergency facilities:

When Should I Seek Emergency Care for My Pet?

The easiest answer as to whether you should seek emergency care for your pet is when you feel his or her medical condition is serious and cannot wait. However, the following general situations should help you determine if you need to seek emergency care for your pet:
